This is Personal: Why I Started Apptly

“I’m a surgeon - like my father, brother, and two uncles - and even married to one. You could say it’s the family business. That’s why I take it personally when patients can’t get the care they need or when my colleagues struggle to remain in practice without compromising their independence. Rather than complain, I decided to fix it.

With a team of physicians, nurses, and experts in insurance and technology, we built a simple platform that connects patients to specialists for a transparent price using a health savings account or credit card - doing the unthinkable: increasing access while reducing cost.”
