Payments

Connect your payments (Stripe)

The platform runs payments through Stripe. You set up Stripe inside the platform so patient payments come to you directly. There are two ways to connect, depending on how your account is set up.

If you manage a practice
  1. Open Manage Users and find the Stripe Connection section.
  2. Click Connect to Stripe account.
  3. Create a new Stripe account for your practice, or connect an existing one. Specialists in your practice will then use the practice Stripe account to receive payments.

If you are set up individually
  1. Go to the Stripe Connection section at the bottom of your profile.
  2. Click Connect to Stripe account and follow the prompts. If you already have a Stripe account, you can connect it here.
  3. Once connected, you will see a confirmation that you are using your own Stripe account to receive payments.

Once connected, you can view payments or disconnect from Stripe here.
How you get paidWhen you approve an appointment, the patient’s payment is captured through Stripe. The remaining balance is released after you mark the visit complete (see step 7). If a patient does not show, the appointment fee is forfeited to you.

What happens nextApprove: the appointment is confirmed and the patient’s payment is captured through Stripe. Reject: the patient is automatically emailed and directed to choose another physician or time. They are not charged.
Need a different time?Rescheduling is not self-service yet. To propose a new time, email support and our team will coordinate it with the patient and update the platform for you.

Getting paid

Mark a visit complete

This is the step that releases the rest of your payment, so do not skip it after you have seen the patient.

  1. After the appointment, open the visit on your Dashboard.
  2. Select Complete for that appointment.
  3. The remaining balance is released to you through Stripe. A Practice Administrator can also do this on the physician’s behalf.
Why it mattersPart of the fee is captured when you approve the appointment. The rest is only released once the visit is marked complete, so an unmarked visit means an unfinished payment.
